Why?
Good community engagement leads to stronger projects. Understanding how best to involve your community is an ongoing process – there are always things to learn!
What?
We held a community engagement workshop for community groups in Glasgow and the Clyde Valley who are working towards a purchase of land or buildings.
In this 2 hour workshop we:
- Discussed plans and how groups are thinking of engaging with the community.
- Got and gave feedback on engagement plans.
- Identified next steps, including funding opportunities
We supported the creation and refinement of community engagement plans.
Participants left with an expanded network of others working on similar projects, an engagement plan, and clear next steps.
